Jews and Kurds rally in Frankfurt for Israel and against anti-Semitism
Some 3,500 demonstrators rallied in Frankfurt to protest a wave of anti-Semitic incidents in Germany, among them hundreds of members of the Kurdish-Israeli Friendship Association, waving Kurdish flags alongside Israeli ones.
Participants of the rally which was supported by German Chancellor Angela Merkel included Frankfurt Mayor Peter Feldmann, Israel’s ambassador to Germany Yakov Hadas-Handelsman and Kurdish Israeli singer Hadasa Yesurun.
