First-time ever conference on Kurdistan at the Knesset
On Nov. 29, 2017, Member of Knesset Ksenia Svetlova hosted at the Israeli Parliament an event featuring a dozen MKs speaking about Israel and Kurdish relations, including Deputy Minister of Defense Eli Ben-Dahan, Deputy Minister Michael Oren, Opposition leader Isaac Herzog, former Minister of Foreign Affairs Tzipi Livni, Yossi Yona, Nachman Shai, Itzhik Shmuli, Nurit Koren, Moshe Raz, and others. Also attending this event: President of the Jewish Coalition for Kurdistan Joël Rubinfeld and President of the European-Kurdish Society Kahraman Evsen.
